O Sushi is an underrated and undiscovered sushi spot in Covina. I'm not complaining, because the lines are always short, the service is prompt, and the sushi is delicious! I come to O Sushi when I don't want to stuff myself on AYCE at Sushi Show it when I want take out to eat at home. The Fire Stone is my favorite specialty roll so I usually get one of those, a rainbow roll, and a Hot Night roll. I can honestly say that I have never had anything here that I didn't like! The White Devil and the Jumbo Special are also really good. The rolls are always fresh tasting, well made, and flavorful. The only ones I haven't tried are any of the rolls with cream cheese, so I can't speak for those.
When I have ordered to go, I have never been disappointed. They always get my take out orders right and have them ready on time.
You know this place is good because it has survived for a few years now in the infamously quiet Via Verde shopping center, where businesses kind of cycle in and out. -

Placed a phone order as midweek dinner for hubby, mother, and I. Place looked spacious and clean. Prices are less expensive compared to others in the area.
4 orders of rolls: dragon, rainbow, lemon pepper, and sunset something.
Ready within 15 minutes! We enjoyed it! Might be back. -

Just ate here for the first time. It's a smaller place with nice atmosphere and not too noisy like many restaurants are these days. Service was prompt and friendly. We both had the combination bento for $13.95.
The miso soup, California rolls, salad, sushi, was all delicious. We appreciated the little cucumber salad appetizers that was brought to the table. This is the first time I've given 5 stars. So happy to find our new go to Japanese restaurant. -

One of my favorite restaurant to order Chirashi Bowl. The combination of fresh fish, tamago, seaweed salad, roe etc is great. They will gladly substitute the shrimp for fish too.

After a long, yet fun daytime journey of cruising through the beach cities, my friends and I were exhausted. We were in the mood for sushi, so we ended the birthday celebration by stopping here for a quick dinner. I was still a bit full from our late afternoon dessert of dole whip, so I just opted on ordering one sushi roll.
I think I prefer Show Sushi's thicker cut Rainbow Roll, but O Sushi's version was terrific quality for the price. On the side of the plate, a smeared dollop of sriracha and a spicy mayo sauce were given, but in my opinion didn't go very well flavor-wise with the rolls in comparison to the essential (and solely the best kind of sauce for sushi) soy sauce and wasabi mixed sauce.
The customer service was ordinary, yet once we were done eating our server was nowhere in sight. Therefore, it took a while to wave her over to ask for the bill.
On my next visit here, I'll definitely order different rolls I've never tried before and perhaps try a bento box combo, too. And of course I won't forget to check-in with Yelp once again to receive their awesome deal of FREE green tea ice cream. Who could pass up a sweet treat deal like that? I recommend O Sushi if you live in or near San Dimas and searching for a pleasant, affordable Japanese meal.
